Both courses have earned 4½ stars from Golf Digest, making Lake Arrowhead an excellent complement to the world-class golf at Sand Valley.
The Pines
Lake Arrowhead’s original course, opened in 1982, winds through tall pines and mature woodlands with tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and a more intimate, classic feel. It plays up to 6,628 yards and is widely regarded as one of Wisconsin’s top public courses

The Lakes
Opened in 1998, The Lakes offers a longer and more expansive challenge, playing up to 7,135 yards with large undulating greens, strategically placed bunkers, and water hazards coming into play on seven holes.
With 36 holes of championship golf on one property, Lake Arrowhead is a great option for golfers looking to play another pair of excellent Wisconsin courses beyond Sand Valley.

Originally established in 1922, Bullseye is one of Central Wisconsin’s historic golf clubs. SentryWorld

Opened in 1982 and designed by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., SentryWorld is one of Wisconsin’s premier public golf courses. The beautifully maintained parkland course features memorable holes throughout, including its famous Flower Hole, a par 3 surrounded by thousands of flowers, along with dramatic water and landscape features. SentryWorld has consistently earned national recognition and hosted the 2023 U.S. Senior Open.
Wild Rock Golf Club

Designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, the architects behind Erin Hills, Wild Rock is an 18-hole championship course built around a former stone quarry. Dramatic elevation changes, sandstone ridges, wooded areas, and sweeping views of the Baraboo Bluffs give the course a rugged, distinctive character unlike most Wisconsin courses.
Lawsonia
Lawsonia offers 36 holes of golf on one property, including the nationally recognized Links Course and the scenic Woodlands Course. Built in 1930 by William Langford and Theodore Moreau, the historic Links Course is known for its deep bunkers, bold greens, firm playing surfaces, and creative, strategic shot-making. The Woodlands provides a completely different experience, with a more traditional parkland setting and beautiful views of Green Lake.
